Just Molly

Here are some funny pictures.  Molly cracks us up all the time.  This first one is how Jeff got Molly dressed one morning.  She's our little black bear.  This will be her halloween costume one year...

I LOVE seeing these 2 cuddle.  Molly is such a little cuddler.  I can't get enough of it.  I love watching her sleep.  She's so peaceful and perfect.
Playing with the curtains.  This is one of Molly's new favorite things.  She pulls them out, puts them back, pulls them out, etc...  She usually just talks and talks the whole time and is completely content to just hang out on our bed with the curtains.

See?  Content.  Thrilled.  Cheeseball Molly.

Molly also had her first swimming experience.  There was an Elder's Quorum BBQ/pool party tonight at the home of a really nice guy who I think is maybe a high counselor?  I don't know.  He's super great though.  The swim diapers are a little too big...even though we got the smallest size.  She's such a little light weight! I think my favorite part of the picture (besides the diaper that covers her whole torso) is that she has her little feet crossed.  She always does that!

She was such a little trooper and seemed to like the water.  It got windy at the end and she was a little cold so she got to hang out in daddy's towel and her towel.  Right after this picture, I took her to the car to change her into some clothes and a torrential rain storm started.  So, we just chilled in the car and waited for daddy and Uncle Spencer.
This was good practice for our upcoming trip to go see our Oregon family on Wednesday.  SO excited for a little vacation and to hang out with family!

6 Months

Yes.  Our baby is 6 months old!  She had her checkup today and was a little rockstar.  She's still tall and skinny, weighing 13 lbs. 6 oz. (6%) and 26.5 inches (75%).  She would NOT put her head down and has some tough little abs.

She loves squash, green beans, kicking, playing with the curtains in our bedroom, kicking, her feet and hands, kicking and trying to dive out of the Bumbo and any other seat we put her in.

We also got her pictures taken last weekend and got them back today.
Here are a few of the favorites:

I'm going to have a proud mom moment for a minute, so feel free to skip the rest of my ramblings....
Everywhere we go with her, people always comment on her.  The usual comments are: "She is so gorgeous!"  "Look at those beautiful eyes."  "What a beautiful baby."  "She is so happy!  She's so cute!"  I was at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with my sister and one of the workers there (a man) stopped and played with her feet and kept saying how beautiful she was.

At church, we have a lot (and I mean a LOT) of elderly people.  There are walkers, canes, and hearing aids everywhere you turn.  The cute little old ladies always stroke her arm and say how cute she is.  There are two little old men in particular who absolutely adore Molly.  One of them has taken to holding her during Sunday School and getting her to sleep.  He always touches his head to her feet or puts his face close to hers and mimics what she is doing.  She seems to be quite fond of him and it's the cutest thing to watch.

Molly is the most content little girl.  She loves to cuddle and loves to fight taking naps...which is not fun but it's kind of funny to watch her rub her eyes and not be able to hold her head up, but still not give in to sleep.  We're amazed every day at how beautiful and perfect Molly is.  We feel so blessed to be her parents and to get to enjoy this little miracle every day.  I can't get enough of just staring at her perfect little face and looking through these pictures.  Looking at all the pictures, I have to say, we do have the most beautiful little girl ever.  We love her more than anything!

Finally

I have a lot of finally's.  All good finally's.
1.  Jeff took his final and is FINISHED!!  This class (pathophysiology) has sucked up all of his spare time.  He has been studying every night and every weekend all summer and let's be honest, it's lame.  I mean, totally necessary, but lame.  I almost felt like a single mom just because he had to study SO much.  Needless to say, we're REALLY happy to have Jeff back with us without studying!  He was a rockstar on his final, by the way.  Of course he was.  He's just fabulous.

2.  My sister got married yesterday!  Official welcome to the fam, Manda's Jeff.  They were married in the Manti Temple.  It was beautiful and we're so happy for them.  Love you guys!
So maybe just 2 finally's...

It started raining after all the family pictures so these guys got a little wet.  This was after the luncheon.  My dad, bless his heart, put the police line on Mandy.  Her Jeff was a good sport about the police line everywhere.

Molls and her non.  They're good buddies.
Molls and Sir.  This is the "grumpy face" picture.  Molly didn't even have to pose for it.  She was SO done with the day and we hadn't even gotten to the luncheon yet.  She was a trooper though and was pretty chill the majority of the day considering everything that was going on.

Look at my beautiful and happy sister!  Here she is with Molly and Brooklynn.

Our little fam.  I love these guys more than anything!

They're just my favorites.  Look how much he loves Molly!

My bestie Crystal and my mom.  Crystal is awesome.  She went down to watch the kiddos during the ceremony and hangs out with my cute Molly Tuesdays and Thursdays.  She is seriously a life saver.

Check out her eyelashes.
Mandy's last Saturday as a single lady.  We got pedicures, ate dinner, and gave her useful wedding night gifts.

Here's our little drool factory.  Do you love how soaking wet that onesie is?  Um, she only didn't have a bib on for maybe 5ish minutes.  True story.  This little girl is a drool machine.  I'm pretty sure I will never have a clean or dry shirt again.  It's cool though.  Welcome to motherhood, right?

This is Molly's new favorite thing.  As soon as we sit her in the Bumbo, she immediately reaches for things around her.  She sometimes scoots herself along the counter with that little foot.

Just so ya know, she likes to work on both sides...See how she's just standing like it's totally normal to lunge out of the chair?  She thinks she's such a big kid.  We have a ton of really cute pictures to post since we've really been slacking, but I'm going to go join my cute husband in bed.  We're tired these days!

Some molly pics

Molly is still just as virtue as ever. She loves eating, go figure, with me as her dad... Every time we eat she lunges for our food. She grabs the spoon we feed her with so we have to use two to get the job done. She even grabs the bowl and tries to eat out of that. Here is also a pic from work of one of my pranks. I'm okay with pranks, but not practical jokes.

5 Months

This little cutie is 5 months today!  She loves her toes, blowing spit bubbles, chewing on anything she can get her drool-covered little hands on, and smiling.  She's pretty much the best baby ever.

Yum

Molly had a taste of rice cereal tonight.  She seemed to love it.  I'm pretty sure she didn't get much IN her little tummy, but we had fun feeding her.

Jeff took a video, but I'm not patient enough to put it on here so he'll have to do that later.
Molly is so much fun.  We love watching her learn new things every day.  She is changing so much and growing SO FAST!
