Stephen Ambrose

Sorry for the non-Molly post. I've read a few books lately that are worth mentioning. For lack of a better option, I read Undaunted Courage by Stephen Ambrose. Fantastic book. I had never been interested in Lewis and Clark (because it's always been shoved down my throat growing up in Oregon). But the book was an absolutely fascinating look at Meriwether Lewis and the voyage. I just sailed through it.

When Jenny and I were at the Desert Book flagship store (because we couldn't get into the Motab Davie Archuletta concert) I found this book on the clearence shelf. I had seen the mini series on HBO which was great, so I decided to get the book. Also fascinating. A really great read. Stephen Ambrose did (tragically, he's dead) such a great job researching and writing and really diving into the lives of these men during their truely heroic 11 monts on the battlefield. Plus it's about WW2 which I've always been interested. I highly recommend both of these books and look forward to reading more from Stephen Ambrose.

More of Molly

Molly is 2 weeks old now and doing great.

Her arms are always sticking strait up when we put her in this suit and carseat.

Maddie adores Molly, here she is with her goofy face
Cute Outfit

One of the reasons we call her "Monkey". I love it when she flares her nostrils like this.
All stretched out in front of the space heater waiting for a soak.
Pope Molly IV

First doctor appt. She gained 1 ounce, but then lost it in two messy diapers whilst in the exam room.
More monkey face

"Back off me with that"

She is so cute when she sleeps...

...and funny when she's annoyed

Molly

Thanks for the warm towel, Aunt Andrea!  Molly loved being all wrapped up after her bath.

This is my current favorite picture.  I have a cute little family.

She's just cute.

Kaitlyn and Molly

Here are some cute pics of Kaitlyn and Molly. She was a bit timid at first, but then just took onto her role of cousin. She can also say a very cute "Baby Molly".

Getting ready to go home

What a cutie!!!!

This pretty much sums up how it went. Sam wanted nothing to do with any babies. "Mom, you take bookin peas."

Maddie was in heaven

Her face sums up how we've all felt these past few days.
