Here's a quick update of the remodeling...

Here is the kitchen. We LOVE it. It's nice to actually have counter space, a dishwasher, a real sized oven and cupboards. We can actually put our dishes in the kitchen and not in a tool cupboard in another room. We're pretty thrilled about it.

The bathroom is almost finished. Here it is so far. We have a door which we went without for a while so that's nice. The shower is really tiny. Luckily Ikea came to the rescue and we found a little basket thing to hang up above so that we can put all our stuff in it. We usually have the curtain a little higher, but the rod broke one day and we need to get a new one.

Last, but not least, is Jeff's new love. He's been saving his money for the past year and finally got a new TV. 46 inches of HD glory. It's big. I don't know anything about this kind of stuff, but Jeff was really excited to get it. The picture is actually almost too real. It's like the people are in the room with you.
This has been my life since we got it. Jeff LOVES Star Trek so this has pretty much been what he has watched all week.
Star Trek: TNG (that's The Next Generation in Jeff terms) on a 46 inch HDTV. Could life be any better for my cute husband?

Yeah, you need to have us over...!! haha, jk!

But seriously, let us know when you're available. Saturdays or Thursdays are usually good for us. Or Sundays. It would be fun to visit, play games, whatever. If you came here, we could put our kids to bed...it would be fun to play games with you guys!

Very nice. I'm sure you guys are so excited. Randy got a 46" tv a while ago and he loves it too. Only difference is ours is filled with football, basketball, baseball, etc. etc. etc. They do actually feel like they're in the room with you. My question is, which is scarier to be living with: Professional Football Players or Star Trek people? Hmmm . . . .

I love the pictures! I am so excited for your new kitchen. Not only is it so much bigger, but it is new and clean! I can't wait to come and see it in person.

Congrats on the bathroom door. They're kind of essential. Wish there was some way of widening your shower, though. Next house, I guess. (I guess you could talk to your landlord.) Love the kitchen, Jenny. No wonder you're cooking up a storm. Can't wait to see your new 45 inch baby.
