Christmas Miracle

We had a little Christmas miracle this morning. The entire time we've lived here (just about a year), we have had issues with our hot water. You would get in the shower and it would be scalding hot for about 30 seconds and then go ice cold. Every so often it would be lukewarm. But we've NEVER been able to control the water temperature and it's been beyond maddening.
So, finally, this past week, our water has been fixed. There is a lot to the story, but it's not exciting. The only important thing is that we have a great neighbor who stayed on the maintenance people's cases all week until it was fixed.
